Winter roads around Aspen are a different drive from a summer sightseeing day. Highway 82 can be dark and slow before the lifts open. People who live in the Roaring Fork Valley plan for that. Visitors often meet it on the morning they are trying to make a flight or a first chair.
Aspen Alpenglow Limousine keeps that work with local drivers. The company has eight full-time local drivers, and those drivers have 15 or more years of mountain driving experience. The vehicle is private. SUVs seat 7. The Ford Transit Ford Transit Passenger Van seats 13. No shared rides are offered. Your group is the only group in the car.
What the vehicles carry once the snow is here
Ski weeks get awkward in the driveway, not on the hill. Boots, a week of clothes, and two pairs of skis do not share a trunk politely. The vehicles have ski racks and roof cargo space so the gear can ride outside and the people can ride inside. They also have Starlink, which is the connection on a highway where a phone signal comes and goes.
None of that changes the seat count. An SUV still seats 7. The Ford Transit Passenger Van still seats 13. If the group is larger than one vehicle, say so when you book so there are enough vehicles on the job. Strangers are not added to fill a seat. No shared rides are offered.
Child car seats and boosters are free. You do not need to rent a seat at the airport and then figure out how to return it. Tell the company the ages when you reserve. Pets are welcome, with a cleaning fee. The site does not publish the amount of that fee, so ask when you book if a dog is traveling.
How a winter pickup runs
Airport pickups include flight tracking. The driver is watching the inbound flight, not the time that was printed before a delay. Airport pickups also include thirty minutes of complimentary wait time, so a slow bag claim is part of the pickup rather than a surprise charge. The airport transfers page is the place that describes ASE, Eagle, Denver, Rifle, and Grand Junction arrivals.
For a hotel, house, or condo, the time you agree is the time the driver is working from. Snow slows Highway 82 and it slows I-70. The company does not publish a promise that weather will leave the clock alone. What it does publish is who is driving.
If the ride is to or from an airport, use the rate for that airport. One-way rates, each way, are Eagle $720, Denver $1,375, Grand Junction $950, and Rifle $720. Holiday pricing may change seasonally. A confirmed reservation is honored at the quoted rate. The pricing page is where those figures live, and the fleet page is where you compare an SUV with the van.
Two different clocks: ordinary cancels and diversions
General cancellations need 24 hours' notice. That is the ordinary rule for a trip you no longer want. It is not the same rule as an airline diversion.
Flight diversions to Denver or Grand Junction are handled with 2 hours' notice and no Aspen cancellation penalty. If the airline sends the plane to one of those two airports, call with that notice. Do not treat the 2-hour window as permission to cancel a house pickup the same day. A change of plans at the condo still needs 24 hours' notice.
In-valley ski days are the same fleet
A transfer from Aspen to the hill, or from Snowmass back to town after the lifts close, uses the same private vehicles. Ski resort transfers is the page for those runs. Racks and roof cargo stay on the vehicle. Starlink stays on the vehicle. The seat counts stay 7 and 13. The company has operated since 2012, and the winter version of the job is the same private car with drivers who already know these roads.
What to send when you reserve
Call 970-456-3666 or use reservations. Say how many people are riding, how many children need a seat, whether skis or a board are coming, and which airport or address is the start. If the trip is billed to a company, corporate charge accounts are billed monthly. That is a billing method. It is not a different fleet.
Holiday weeks are busier, and holiday pricing may change seasonally. Book the dates you already know, keep the quote, and keep the confirmation. If the airline diverts you to Denver or Grand Junction, use the diversion rule. For everything else, give 24 hours' notice.
